Staying Transparent: Information on the Recent Email Incident

Dear Valued Customers,

We want to inform you of a recent security incident involving our customer-facing email, info@diskrafte.com.au. Unfortunately, this email was used by hackers to send scam emails on 15 July 2024, despite the tight security in place. The hackers also accessed our Email Marketing (Klaviyo) account for this activity.

Upon discovering the issue, we immediately took action to secure both our personal and business accounts. Klaviyo suspended our account to prevent further damage and we promptly verified our account ownership. We have since restored access, reset passwords and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to enhance security. We also audited our customer list and are relieved to confirm that your data was not compromised.

We reported the incident to the authorities. They have noted our report (CIRS-20240719-102) and will contact us if further investigation is needed. Although no additional police action will be taken at this time, we remain committed to protecting your privacy and data.

We want to reassure you that we prioritise the security of your data. We will never ask for your password or put your account at risk. To help you stay safe online, here are some resources to recognise and avoid scam emails:

Additionally, enabling MFA on your personal accounts can significantly enhance your security. For guidance on setting up MFA, please visit Australian Cyber Security Centre’s MFA Guide.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. If you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Best regards,
disKrafte Team
